God has blessed us with the ability to help many people who need minor automotive maintenance. Because Jesus Christ has freely given us salvation, we freely give to others who need help. The Bible says "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". Romans 3:23. That means everyone needs help because we are broken by sin. Only God can fix someone broken by sin. The Bible says, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works." Ephesians 2:8-10. The mission of the Mimosa Lane Baptist Church Pit Stop Ministry is to perform minor automotive maintenance for those in need, especially senior church members and single women. Through partnerships with the men, women, and youth of our church, we seek to instill the spirit of service and impart life skills to advance them in God's kingdom. We strive to encourage the men of our church to answer God's call through Christ-like service.
